‘Perspectives on Autism’ blog for Autistic Pride

Sunday 18th June was the 12th annual celebration of Autistic Pride. In order to mark the day, some ‘ Autistics in Academia’ produced this collaborative blog – as an opportunity to show and celebrate the research work we are doing across different institutions in the UK, and our commitment to the promotion of Neurodiversity and inclusion in academia. The blog article has kindly been hosted by Dr Luke Beardon, senior lecturer in Autism Studies at Sheffield Hallam University, on his blog “Perspectives on Autism”. The link is here:

“Autistics in Academia” is a vibrant, growing community – we connect largely on Twitter, via the hashtag #autisticsinacademia, which acts as a place for community support, for visibility and pride – and even for promoting job opportunities! Check it out, and join the conversation!
